Looking for a ideal job is never easy. There has been surveys performed on how long it takes in general for people to find jobs based on the job pay. On average, you can expect to look for work 1-2 months for every 10,000 you want to earn. Which Means, if you need to find a 80,000 a year position, you can expect to search for 8-16 months to land it. Back in the times when the economy sizzled, that job search length would have seemed outrageous, but now, many people would be happy to only look for 4-8 months.
